SPAM Messages sent from Outlook that don't appear in sent items but appear in message tracking

Tags: Microsoft, Exchange 2003 and Outlook2003

About 300 SPAM messages were sent via Exchange but do not appear in the sent items in Outlook.

Message tracking reveals these sent items but they appear to be authenticated email.
Open Relaying is closed.
Virus Protection did not find anything
