I change the user email address in exchange but it shows it coming frmo the old when i try to make the new the primary it just goes right back

Is there a way to change the users email in active directory I added a second email and then made the new one the primary but it keeps going back to the old one being the primary so emials look like they are coming from the old one. Nothing I have tried seems to work. Start Free Trial
