Configuring Apache to work with TrendMicro remote client installer

Asked by sgeye in Enterprise Anti-Virus, Apache Web Server

Tags: apache, trend, micro, trendmicro

I am having a problem getting the remote client installation feature of Trend Micro OfficeScan to work. I receive an error message that I need to use an account with administrator privileges, which I am. I found a solution to this problem on TrendMicro's site, but they only discuss fixing the issue with IIS, despite the fact that the product ships with Apache if you choose to use it. I was hoping someone could tell me how to make the changes discussed in the below articles in Apache rather than IIS.

I should note that I am running TrendMicro Officescan 8.0 on Windows 2003 Server.

Thanks.
