Trend Micro OfficeScan Client 7 - running on Exchange 2007 server - is it compatible?

Asked by zpetersen in Enterprise Anti-Virus, Exchange Email Server

I'm working for a client who wants to load Trend Micro OfficeScan Client for Windows 2003/XP onto the new Exchange 2007 servers that I am deploying. From past experience I do know that they put this on several of the domain controllers that I deployed for them and it hosed a few of those up pretty darn good. My gut tells me that this AV client shouldn't be loaded onto an Exchange 2007 server but hopefully someone out there can point me to some good info on the subject.

Trend Micro OfficeScan Client for Windows 2003/Xp
Program Version: 7.3
Engine Version: 8.550.1001

Thanks!!
