Hope I remember this when I change the administrator account password

Browse All TopicsWe install the latest Trend Worry Free Business Security Advanced on our Small Business Server 2003. We have put this on 2 others fine. It installs normally, with mostly just the defaults, virtual directory, default ports, etc.
We added our desktops in several batches and it pushed out and installed fine. We also pushed the install to another 2003 server. These servers and clients never showed up inthe "security settings" console. This allso includes my sbs server, so I can't manage the spam settings. They also all show disconnected.
We have uninstalled and reinstalled twice, and uninstalled and reinstalled one of the clients using several install methods.
When you click on the "Real-Time Monitor", you get a IIS 401.1 not authorized error. Also we noted that when you open the security console, you have to give the domain admin username and password, then the trend password to get to the console.
This leads me to a rights or IIS permissions problem, but I can't find the missing piece. Also it loosk like Trend doesn't work on Fridays or weekends, so I am a little disappointed in the support.

trend called and it was indeed permissions on IIS. Rather than the standard IUSR account, it required the domain administrator account. There were also some other minor tweaks to permissions and allow executables. He seemed to know the issue well, but it is not in their KB. Hope this helps someone else
