AUTO Scan for Virus on usb drives and removable media. Trend Micro
I have clients here in my office that use usb thumb drives. I use as virus protection software TrendMicro Worry Free Advance Bus.
I would like for the client PCs to auto scan every time a USB thumb drive is inserted. Not sure how to do this.

A few security hints:
Removable drive has become a obvious threat - transport vector for malware.
There are several security setting to take note on top of (just) scanning
Under Navigation Path: Security Settings > Select a group > Configure > Behavior Monitoring
a) Prevent applications in USB plug-in devices from automatically opening:
Select this option to stop programs on USB devices from running automatically on clients.
For scanning, leverage on the Real time scan and Smartscan (where possible especially in intranet)
Real-time Scan: Real-time Scan is a persistent and ongoing scan. Each time a file is received, opened, downloaded, copied, or modified, Real-time Scan scans the file for threats. This should covered the files from removable drive as well (e.g. scan upon plugging in the drive).
Smart Scan: the client uses its own scan engine but instead of using only a local pattern file to identify threats, it primarily relies on the pattern file held on the Scan Server. But note Clients configured for Smart Scan must be online to connect with the Scan Server service. Offline clients are vulnerable to threats that might already be on the computer or threats from external devices.
