How do I route a virtual machine through a socks proxy server?

I would like to use VMware workstation or any other virtualization software to create a virtual machine that is routed through a SOCKS proxy. Every connection initiated by the virtual machine needs to be routed through this proxy and the proxy should be invisible to the OS. In other words, the OS needs to think that my proxy server is the IP given to it by the router. Do you know any software or settings I can use to get this effect?Start Free Trial
