I'm facing this error at 3 pc's having XP SP2
this system is shutting down. please save all work in progress and log off ...

also I did a virus scan using etrust and find nothing

how can i fix it?

If you have admin privilages then you can remotley shutdown a computer by using the shutdown.
Sounds to me like someone on your network is having fun with the shutdown command as this is the message that is displayed when this happens.

Check the security log and see it identifies the culprit. make sure that ordinary users dont have admin privilages and switch on audinting to identify the culprit.

This could be a group policy item being applied either manually configured or perhaps by WSUS (Windows Server Update Services. Are these computers members of a domain?

Or, and perhaps more likely, it can be a virus such as Blaster virus. See:

no there is no security logs.

what is the event id for this process to check in event viewer?

You need to enable the auditing of Sytem events under Local policies.

              *Start>Run>Services.msc
              *Locate Remote Procedure Call service. Double click it then click Recovery Tab
              *Choose Take no action for all failures
              *It may be sasser worm. Check symantec for removal
              *What does it write at System shutdown window? LSAS or RPC?
              *In order to get rid of shutdown process, Start>Run>shutdown -a.
