All I had to do was reinstall into a different directory, and it installed fine.

Question
Install Anti Spyware gets E9027 error
Uninstalled CA Anti Spyware and installed a new release of CA Anti Spyware.
During the reInstall of CA Anti Spyware I received error message E9027.
I followed the instuctions in
http://crm.my-etrust.com/C
and still have the same E9027 error.
How to get past this error?

Besides using Windows Installer Cleanup Utility to remove previous version of CA Antispyware, use Dial A Fix and CCleaner to remove its reminents. Follow the instructions in this webpage
