All I had to do was reinstall into a different directory, and it installed fine.

During the reInstall of CA Anti Spyware I received error message E9027.
I followed the instuctions in

and still have the same E9027 error.
How to get past this error?

Besides using Windows Installer Cleanup Utility to remove previous version of CA Antispyware, use Dial A Fix and CCleaner to remove its reminents. Follow the instructions in this webpage
