Description: Update task complete. Error connecting to proxy server. This error usually occurs when a connection is bad or unstable, or if network connection settings are incorrect. Recommendations: To troubleshoot this problem, make sure the network connection settings, update source availability, and the update source list are all correct. Then run Updater again. If the error occurs again, send the Updater trace to Technical Support to clarify the problem.

try going to kaspersky's website and see if you can download the updates from there...i have seen many issues in the update area in programs that won't allow you to use it...so try to go to their website and see what they have on there to manually update, manually updating is better anyways because it tells you exactly what you want. take care!
