Hi,

Previously I had Kaspersky Anti-virus installed, but the subscription had expired, my virus definitions had gone out of date and I had suffered an attack by W32.Gammima.AG . Finally Windows stopped booting. I restored my system drive to an earlier state using Norton Ghost, but the virus remained. It was impossible to change the folder options to show hidden/system files.

I finally installed NAV 2005 which claimed to have removed the virus, but left behind the autorun.inf files installed by the virus behind, making it impossible to acess the drive roots from My Computer. While it's now possible to show system files, hidden files remain hidden. dir /A:S from the Command Prompt can display the autorun.inf files, but not delete them, or change their attribute.

What should I do?
