I have lost the CA etrust threat management password.
Is there any way to recover it or to create another user to log in?

You would need to call the vendor, confirm whom you are, and have them reset the password and or create a new user.

Must vendor's have a back door way in.

Hi.
CA etrust threat management can be managed only by users specified in the console, it doesn't accept domain admins group when integrated with AD.
I had to reset the password of the user who installed the console and it worked.
