Hi, Jowickerman.
Thanks for your help . I tested your solution and it worked fine. One thing: I created the package on an officescan server where I had alloved alloved all permissions that I thoght neccesary under Client management > settings > Priviliges and other settings to enable administration of the AV directly on the stanadalone client. Is this neccesary, or would the priviliges be available anyway?

Hi ragnarholst,
min\Utilit y\ClientPa ckager\Cln Pack.exe and copy this file to the computer that you want to install the Trend Client on in the DMZ.
min\ofcsca n.ini) and search for update_url. e.trendmic ro.com/act iveupdate. The same as the Master_Program_URL section. Doing this will force the client to go directly to the internet and not to your OfficeScan server.
Yes, it is possible:
Create client install package using C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\OfficeScan\PCCSRV\Ad
Or if the computer is still outside of the DMZ do a remote install from the Office Scan console.
When done you need to edit the ofcscan.ini file to point directly to the Trend Global server:
Open the ofcscan.ini (C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\OfficeScan\PCCSRV\Ad
You will see that it states /OfficeScan/download/ this you need to change to http://osce8-p.activeupdat
Do this once and copy-past to the computers with the client installed in the DMZ.
See attached file
Hope this helps.
Cheers
