It is installed as part of system Mechanic. I have no other Virus program installed, I have tried to deinstall thru control panel and reinstall, same message

Here is the error message I get when I try to run/install Iolo Anti Virus:
The component "DVPAPI" is required for Iolo-Antivirus to operate properly and could not be started

Do you have Iolo Antivirus installed already? How about any other antivirus program? If so, uninstall them first and then restart the computer. Try installing Iolo Antivirus again.
