Error Deleting File or Folder

Cannot delete Aleem: Access is denied.

Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently in use.

Couple of other points
1. I have full administrative right to this file and folder
2. when ever i create a new file in this folder, that as well i can't delete
3. what all files in that folder i'm not able to rename

ensure you have taken ownership of the folders and files, ensuring that include all children and subfolders are included (selected).

Then ensure you have the permissions (full control) and again allow that to flow down..
(this only appears if you take the advanced option).

And if all this still doesn't work, try a bootable CD like bartpe or something similar to do it.

hi saleem, this may be two cause
either 1) file is currently in use which can check in task manager (or) logoff and then login better you can restart,
or 2) you don;t have permission to delete the folder in this case go to security and take ownership and see you have full permission and check whether it has been applied to their children also...

Through process explorere also not able to identify which applictaion is make of the files. The virus program running some where and holding the files control across.
