Do you know if the clients will come up and say "unlicensed" (so the users can see it), when we go into grace?

Browse All TopicsI have a eTrust r8 entreprise installation. On the admin server (ITM) it says 11 days left under license. At the moment we are "upgrading" our antivirus to MS ForeFront, and hope to be done with that in the next couple of days. But if it should take longer than the 11 days we have left regarding eTrust license, does anybody know what happens. I know that there is a graceperiod.
How long is the grace period?
Can we still get signature updates?
Will all of our eTrust clients have a bubble-text saying "license expired"?
etc.?
Regards,
Steffen

Users can check if their license has expired or in grace period by opening the Agent on their PC (if they have installed it). eTrust does not display any messages on the user PCs if the license has expired or during the grace period. Even when the grace period has expired no messages are displayed.
User will be alerted by the Windows Security Center as soon as the virus signatures are out of date .

The grace period is 30 days. During this period eTrust continue downloading updates normally.
CA does this so that customers who are under their license renewal are not left without updates.
