Is there any good free antiviruses out there where you don't have to register?

I am setting up a computer for an older lady who knows nothing about computers.  I want to give her an antivirus program that will update and run without having to reregister 3 months from now (like Avast).  Any suggestions?

I recommend Avast, AVG sucks as it needs a manual update during the day unlike Avast it automatically updates it self.

I think AVG is the best solution.

Avast requires registration.

Take a look to this text:

Quoting the site:

avast! antivirus Home Edition is FREE to use but it is necessary to register before the end of the initial 60 day trial period. Following the registration you will receive by e-mail a license key valid for a period of 1 year. After you have downloaded and installed the program, the license key must be inserted into it within 60 days. The registration process is very easy, and it will take you only a couple of minutes. Register here"

It works for 60 days, but after that you need to register. Registration is free.

Yes, I saw that and I wanted to get his attention on that becoz Avast requires free registration to provide him with a valid key for a year with fully functional software almost like the premium one.
