Upgrade of ePO

Dear all,

I am having ePO 3.6.1, on one server and I am having a reporting problem, where I can not see reports of inffections, so I decided to upgrade to 4.5

I heard that it is posible to just remove old server and put a new one with the same name and IP. I have tried this but it didnt work. do I have to migrate setting? and how? how the new server will detect the new clients?

can anyone help me on this?!

Not from 3.6.1, you would need to upgrade, you just can't replace it

Aftab, that's a link to a gotoassist chat session, that's no help at all.....

UAEA, let me know if you need more help on upgrading....I'll need to know Server OS, number of clients SQL or SQL Express DB

I think You can See the details of Infected PC and users in ePO 3.6.1, Beacause it is available on ePO 3.5

sorry for not replying sooner,

but for us, I found that the problem, is that we clone the computers in our network, so we have a lot of duplicated GUIDs in the database, what I did is that I have deleted my GUID registry key on my pc, and restart the services and even I restart the PC, and it generated a new GUID for my PC, then I have tried a test virus, and I have successfully get an alert email from the serverabout it. but still I can not get it in the report.

right now I will try to foucs on fixing my existing server due to license limitation.
 can anyone help on that,
