The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not?   • The Feedback of the Community

Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. AVG Free partially removed Win32/Cryptor virus + many .exe files will not run

I have an XP Pro SP3 PC infected with Win32/Cryptor I believe.
The AVG Free 8.5 log from a full scan is below.
Some files have been "Moved to Virus Vault", but the log indicates IEXPLORE.EXE and  svchost.exe are still infected.

The system is in a state where most .exe files will not run - I have tried installing Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and it will not start.
