I know that it downloaded updates by looking the trafic on my firewall and also once the admin kit finishes the update if i run update on any of the client computer that use the admin kit as their update source - they download new updates and show the current date as the last update date,
And also once any of the client machines update from the admin kit, if i start update on that machine with update source as kaspersky lab servers - it would finish the update immideately with only a few KB of traffic and show update complete,
So is there any way of fixing whatever is causing the date to be stuck and not update on the admin kit ?
I had tryed to get a solution from kaspersky lab and has been posting on their web-site but there has not been any conclusive solution from them, here is the link just for reference http://forum.kaspersky.com

As you may have seen form my post in the kaspersky forum- that was what i was trying to avoid + when ever i click on one of those links (backup, uninstall...) it forwards me to http://www.kaspersky.com/s
Any way thank you for trying and i think there might be a problem with the writing to the data base that it uses and i will try if i can find a solution to that and if that did not work - I will have no choice but to uninstall,
I have now finally solved it.
I did a reinstall and used klbackup to recreate the group structure and database from the backups i took but the same problem happened. so i reinstalled again and used a new database and updated the admin kit form folder - from the backup of the updates folder- so as not to have to download 100+something MB files again and then did an update from the KLServers and now it is all working fine.
Since i did not used the backups (To use the backups the database and computer name have to be the same as the previous one) I had to recreate the Group structure -
So the problem must have been with the database,
