Question
Can someone hack Facebook friend list?
My son's Facebook account just sent out a viral email to all of his friends. The email contained a link to a porn site that might have a virus. I didn't click on it but several other did and said that the site would hack your computer.
Can this happen in Facebook or is it more likely that he sent it to more than he thought? It's just odd that it was to ALL of his friends and it contained what appears to be a virus.

He changed his password yesterday and this morning, while he was at school, I received an email from his facebook with the viral link again.
I am using gmail and usually when a link shows up that has the characteristics of hostile links it get put into spam but not this one.
Could my email now be on an anonymous hacker that only seems to be coming from Facebook?
Your own PC probably has got KoobFace (the infamous worm attacking social networking sites like FaceBook, mySpace, etc). You should scan with MalwareBytes Anti-Malware (www.malwarebytes.org) first and then change the password again. That should help with this infection.
Another software you can use is SuperAntiSpyware (www.superantispyware.com)

It is possible that this virus is stealing your password and sending out emails through the different accounts.
I would recommend immediately changing your password and sending out an email to his friends and tell them they should do the same and change their password.
