antivirus products/settings
Recently I got the Moneypak FBI Ransom Virus on my computer. I am running Kasperky Antivirus with the latest version/updates. I was only able to remove by doing a system restore. Malwarebytes, Spyhunter and Norton NPE didn't work at removing it.
My question is can anyone recommend other products, I was very disappointed by Kasperky's response when I contacted them about this issue- they were very dismissive.
I realize no one product can stop all viruses but this is a well known virus and if Kasperky can't create an effective method to remove it, then I need to seek other options. Essentially the tech support rep at Kasperky was telling me to only visit websites that I know 100% for sure are safe. Who could know this? And if I did know this for sure, then why would I need to pay for antivirus?
