Need an online virus scanner that doesnt require any type of download to function.

Hey all! So i have internet access at work, only problem is i get all kinds of pop-ups and page redirects when i go online. The company i work for has Symantec Antivirus installed, but anytime i try to start a system scan, it states i cant because ones already in progress. Our IT consists of 3 guys that are absolutely no help at all either. My question is, are there any online scanners that i can run to find and remove whatever it is thats causing the browser issues? It has to be one that doesnt require active -x or any type of download, becuase our system at work wont allow it.
