It is indeed not very easy to find the right product.
Within my former company we used TrendMicro Neat Suite. The good thing here is that they cover all fields of security. Server, Client, Gateway, E-Mail, even an ICAP interface is available a.s.o.. TrendMicro is a very very professional product! Including their support! It's marvelous if you have the according contract in place ;-).
-Administrative overhead was fairly low. Especially when upgrading versions!
-Stability as well. We had only very few issues with signature updates.
-With the TrendMicro Control Manager you have a central tool to manage all the different tools, e..g. Office Scan for Clients, ServerProtect, InterScan, ScanMail a.s.o.
They also offer support for a wide range of OS! E.g. Linux, Windows, NetApp, ....
However! I do not know Kaspersky and therefore can't say which one is better. I definitely think it depends on the requirements and future plans you have! (Fast signature updates are important but not the only thing to think about ;-))

I'd prefer kaspersky. they are always on top of antivirus reviews for the last few years. I've also used it and no virus infected my PC for as long as I can remember. Also, You could download trial accounts so that you could test it first.
