Hi,
If you already have an efficient hardware router/firewall on your network, you may choose to deploy NOD32 v3 (wait a bit for the v4 on clients).
NOD32 alone is fast and offers a very good protection. If you need an anti-spam solution, there are better dedicated solutions and you should filter spam directly on the mail server if possible.
Deploying the Smart Security is not something I'd recommend for now in a windows server environment because it'll slowdown your clients like most security suites (we're far form NOD32 v2 which I'm still deploying in certain situations and which is very very fast!) About the firewall, just use the built-in one in XP/Vista/7.
If you need an Exchange AV, you can get NOD32 Server v2.7 + XMON, which is the Exchange plug-in for NOD32.
With NOD32 Business, you also get the Remote Admin console with which you can administer all the clients on the network and ensure that their virus definitions are up to date.
I wouldn't get the BitDefender suite either because it's even worse than the Smart Security resources wise.

We are using eset smartsecurity v3 and eset NOD32 v3 in my office - I tried out the new v4 but experienced slow down so I keep using v3 till they patch v4. With eset firewall I experienced the folowing problems - false poisoning attack or flooding attack overflowing the log files - this happens to slow down the internet connection also so I had to disable those options in the setup. Also the antivirus is good but on the server I had to restart it at least once a month for not being able to do the updates. Also opening xls files fron the network was hogging the system si I had to disable the network check.
Technical support - twice tried to use it - the first time the response was after a month and just general the second time - never got response.
Before eset we were using kaspesky i think the firewall is better, the tech support - way better but we had some unresolved issues with comparability with Outlook so I changed to eset.
In summary - eset is very good virus wise, the firewall except for the slowdowns haven had a problem but the v4 makes my computer slower than I like. I remember in kaspersky for example when you want to exclude program from checking it shows drop down list with all runing programs to choose, eset's is more like text editor .
