Saving drivers before formatting Hp Pavilion a1240n

I have Hp Pavilion a1240n desktop. I want to format the computer, but want to save all the drivers before formatting. How do I do that.  Since I bought the computer 3 years back I have never formated it. It came with all kind of junk and I had so much of virus problem. Most of the I have cleaned out. But I want to format it and reinstall the xp and other software.

You dont really need to save them you can just download them again from HP. This is the main page for that model just need to choose your OS. Save the files to a usb and use them when you rebuild.

There is no way you can save drivers already installed on your computer.

Before you reformatt, you should go to the HP website, select your computer model and make sure that you have all the drivers installed to a removable disk (usb or cd) as xxdcmast has said.
