You need to take the CA cert and right-click - install cert so it gets into the trusted root certification authorities certificate store. &nbsp;If you have problems with it, then in the wizard choose to manually assign and when you browse check the box to show physical store.<br />

Once the CA cert is trusted, then all the certs it signed will be trusted.

Thanks for your answer, but I think, I am doing something wrong while creating the CA. I can successfully install both the CA-Cert and the client cert but it always says it's corrupted. Is there a detailed description on how to setup a CA using XCA. Maybe with screenshots? That would be of great help.<br />

I'm just starting using xca to create certificates for testing purposes. I have created a CA and a Client certificate. I can successfully import this cert using the windows wizard but then, when I clicked the details of that cert, it says it's digital signature is either not valid or corrupted.<br />
This appears with all certificates created with XCA.<br />
Is there someone who has successfully created certs with xca for windows? Maybe I've done some mistakes while creating the CA?<br />
