Then all the "PRIMARY MASTER,PRIMARY SLAVE, SECONDARY MASTER, SECONDARY SLAVE" is displayed. Earlier i did not have this problem. but recently i removed my motherboard and reset my BIOS settings to default. Can anyone helpme out . Plssssssss

Well....what kind of drives do you have? And what jumper settings have you got them set at? Several things could be happening here. 1. An IDE drive or drives are bad. 2. The jumper settings are set incorrectly. 3. the cables are not installed correctly. 4. Bad IDE Controller or failing IDE controller or motherboard.
By 'resetting your bios to default', do you mean that you changed a pin setting on your motherboard, or did you enter the bios during the startup sequence?
Did you change any other settings? For example did you add any new drives (like a cd rom drive or othre hard drive)?
The trouble that you are describing cuold be one of these two things..
1. The device jumpers are incorrect for the devices on an ide channel (what I mean is that both might be set as master or both might be set as slave).. A new device usually shippes setup as a master.. if you added another device it might be master too..
2. The bios setting (usually entered by selecting the f1, f2 or delete key during the startup) for the IDE devices may be set to USER (defined) or NOT INSTALLED
Depending on the version of your BIOS on the initial booting screen there may be a selection that say find (setup) IDE devices.. (usually #7 or 8) if not availiable then the main IDE setup screen (usually #1) should be entered and the settings changed to auto and saved..
Please let me know if this helped or if you can give me any ohter details..
