Installing Crystal reports 11 causing Error 1305
Hi EveryOne,
I am trying to install Crystal reports 11 Enterprise. I already have CR 8.5 install. I never had install problem with CR. But CR11 is throwing error while installing such as
Error 1305: Error reading from file C:\Program Files\Common File\Business Objects\3.0\bin\ReportRend erer.dll. Verify if the file exists and you can access it.
Ofcourse the file exists. But why does it throw these error. What should do to get clean install. Is there a
link that answers these error.
Should I unintall CR 8.5 and then Install CR11? Your help is always appreciated.

1) Your question is confusing - in the title you refer to Crystal Reports 11, but you refer to Enterprise 11 in your question - which is it?
2) If you're installing both CR 11 and Enterprise 11, there is a specific install order. Enterprise must be installed first, then Crsytal Reports 11.
3) Are you using the Java or .NET Administrative console? Also, what web server do you have installed ( or do you have a web server installed)? Lastly, if you're using .NET was it installed prior to your web server? It needs to be or the .aspx extensions won't be recognized.
