  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. Tomcat - Using DB2 and JDBC

Ok here we go.
I have had a ton of problems with tomcat and i now want to use my java servlet to connect to a DB2 database. All i want to do is to display a list of names from the "students" table in the database. The field is "firstname". The name of the database is "books" password is "passwd".

Please reply with all of the steps necessary to get this servlet working. Thank you in advance for your time.
