Conversion

I have a number of *.tif files which need to be converted into *.jpg files.
Can I develop a macro to make these conversions ?  Should I use Photoshop, or is there another means ?

Sure, if youve got Photoshop by all means use it. To do a batch conversion you'd use Photoshops Batch command which will open all files within a specified folder and save them in another folder in a specified format. Thats all there is to it.

Yes, batch conversion is the way to go.

Make sure you set the jpegs to the compression etc that you want.
