Adobe Gamma
When trying to open Adobe Gamma for photoshop 5.0 from control center,I get the following error message.An error occured while windows was working with the control panel file C\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\ADOBE GAMMA.CPL. I have tried reinstalling Photo Shop 5.0, but I continue to get the same error message.Can someone out there help me?By the way I`m a novice. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me. Hal.P
try uninstall the photoshop , delete that c:\windows\windows\system\
What kind of a computer do you have?
Also, what monitor, and If you happen to know what video card do you have?
Try this too:
Go to Start>Settings>control panels
and just open the control panel called adobe gamma.
BTW, why do you need adobe gamma?

hi,
well what i will say is,
just find someone who has photoshop installed , go to the windows/system folder in his
computer and take that ADOBE GAMMA.CPL file on floppy and place it in to your computers
windows/system folder.
it should work

also in some computer it will be in
...programfiles/commonfile
so you can get that file from there and place it under windows/system folder
