The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? How to insert special characters and symbols into Photoshop

Hello,

I am on a windows machine.
I am trying to use the registered trademark symbol in a text box in photoshop
Can someone please tell me how to do this?

What I have tried so far:
I have attempted to go to the charmap program and copy the symbol from the 'symbols' font.
I can then paste the symbol into Word or Wordpad but when I attempt to paste the symbol into a text box in Photoshop, the symbol comes out as a screwy looking 'O'.

Any ideas?
