### Closing the old questions in Graphics ###

Hello experts,

As you had probably noticed, there is an organized effort to get all the abandoned questions closed (abandoned question is a question that has not comments for 22 or more days). This way we move the really answered questions in the PAQs and delete thge nonanswered ones. And of course all the experts that had answered questions get their points - although it is not the Primary function of the cleanup, it is something that is also a plus:).

In case you decode it is not for you - please if you see such recommendation in a question that you had participated in, take your time to object if needed or to post your opinion if you are asked for it.

Hey AnnieMod,

I’ve been really busy with exams and stuff recently so haven’t been able to do much on here. I should have a bit more free time in about a week, so if you like I could start back up again? I should tell you that I probably wont be able to do more than 50 questions a week since unfortunately I've still got tons of other stuff to do. So if that’s all ok with you then let me know.

I was suprised that no one else has offered yet, but I suppose it all comes down to time really, Im sure you already know that most people are working full time and EE points just dont feed the family :p Well anyway, hope we can start clearing things up here again.

Yes yes yes! For the past couple of months I've been considering offering my help with cleaning up and this is the chance, I guess? I'm interested in Graphics General, Web Images, and Photoshop (which are the TA I spend more time at besides Fonts, but Turn123 has done an excellent job there already.)

Hi Annie,

Yes, you're right, it is Venabili doing cleanup at Fonts. I've read the link and have no problem at all. I'll post a message in the Cleanup area in a few. Yes again, Web Images is up to date. Photoshop, however, has open questions dating back to September '02 and I'll be glad to give a hand there.

How does Venabili figure the #[number] for the particular Comment that is recommended for approval? It's neat but I'm puzzled.

Hi Annie,

Thanks for the heads up! I really appreciate it. I totally understand the "answer a year later" issue and agree completely. No problem there. On 20137352 I feel the comments given have some value, specially explaining how a delimited text file can not be an image (althought it may contain one) etc etc. But I'll follow your advice and post the script recommending deletion. Next one, gotcha. It's a lot clearer now. And gotcha again.

Sorry for posting in the last couple of weeks, I've been away on an assignment and only got back a few hours ago. Its fine giving the range to the other CV, I prob will still be very busy with this work for another week while the team wraps things up, so I will post here again once I am ready for more cleaning.

Hi Annie, I though I'd just post to confirm what you'd probably been thinking. I wont be able to do any more cleanup for a bit - but Venabili is doing a great job anyway so maybe there wont be much left! Anyway, i'll let you know if/when Im ready for more. See you around :-)
