Recommendations for secondary ads program

Hi,

I'm completely new to web advertising revenue. I have worked with a few websites but mostly from the development point of view and now I'm trying to make revenue for a new site.

I have adsense running and I would like to know if it is recommended to have a second ads program in the site, and if so, what should it be.

My main interest is to keep my site tasteful and useful, I would much rather stay away from "click here and win!" ads.

This is my site:
www.netbulge.com

Any ideas are welcome.

>>"... what could be considered competing ads or services..."<<
I thought they meant other text-ad programs; or at least that was the impression I got after reading a bunch of online marketting forums. I got some ideas there, but this is the only site I trust for information ;)

Anyway, in the threads I read they adviced having 2 ad programs (adsense and something else) as long as the second one was not similar to adsense. They mentioned having asked Google for clarification. Maybe I should write them?

BTW: Thanks for the links.
Yes, that means other text-ad programs.  You can have banner ads or other kinds of ads on the same page as the AdSense ads as long as the page doesn't include "excessive advertising."  The primarily focus is on making sure the ads end up on legitimate pages with real content.  If a page is 90% ads, the real purpose of the page is obvious.
