I need the ability to access the Excel.Application object and use it to create an Excel sheet on the fly. &nbsp;I read somewhere that in order to do this, you must first install MS Office on the web server that will be instantiating this object. &nbsp;Is there any alternative? &nbsp;Is there some way to just install the Office OLE components so I can use ASP to create worksheets? &nbsp;We'd rather not install MS Office on the web server, we're afraid it will open up a whole bunch of security issues.<br />
