Template and "show pop-up menu"?
Hi everybody
I have a template page in Dreamweaver mx and want to use pop-up menu behavior for a button ,but "show pop-up menu" is not active in any condition on template page,how can i solve this problem?

rollovers require javascript in the head of the document so that's out..dare I say it..a small flash movie embedded in a table..showing a button and then the menu on rollover..would be ideal.

yes but you would have put the javascript in when you built the template ..after that the head is locked.
so the answer is fairly simple..put the script for a pop-up in the head of the document when you build the template..and in an editable region of a new document insert an image..(doesn't seem to work with text for some reason)..and set your pop-up.If the trigger for the pop-up has to be text insert an image of text:)

Okay,therefore if i donot want to detach the document from the template, what is the simple way that i make a pop-up menu on template? e.g making a table as a pop up menu besid the button and using rollover effect.
