This does not work for me.
I have macromedia mx.
I used the code.
I just repaced the file name with the actual file name of the media file on the local drive.
Windows Media Player is installed on my system. I can view WMV in Internet Explorer.
Internet Explorer shows that this is installed when in the Options/Programs menu.
Macromedia MX, when attempting to play, says that the plug-in is not installed. True, it is not in the plug-in directory for Internet Explorer, but yet IE says it is installed.
Only anomaly is the % sign that shows up in file name for some reaoson. I removed from code.
When I preview in IE, is see the Windows Media box - right clicking on the window shows properities and I see the windows media file there.
This is my first use of expert-exchange.
Please help me.
Thanks
