Site Design - More of a clean -professional look
Hi,
I am helping a friend to revamp her site. The site, http://www.back-on-track-physio.com. I am not looking at anything high speed, just more a clean professional look. I need some guidance. I am not certain who created it, but the main issues:
it was not designed to be viewed in 15 inch or less;
the buttons on the left dominate the site, taking away from the content, are clunky;
the frames make the site look clunky; and
the blue is too loud, and doesn't give the polished professional look.
The banner on top, is something I have to work with. It's part of the company logo. I would like to work it into a page that is toned down, color wise. Maybe a pastel blue. I am pretty certain I that I am not going to use frames, and the buttons are going to the trash can.
I realize that the answer may be not as complicated, but whoever decides to help is going to have to put effort in. If more than one person really helps I will gladly increase the points and split the points. I am relearning HTML so please be patient. Thanks,
d

Ryan,
That is a great start. Did you check out the site I want to fix, what do you think?

Roger so far.
I am going hold off on anything high speed/flashy for now. I am doing this as a favour and I am just looking for a simple yet sharp page. I am going to have to track down an example. Like anything my friend has the last say on the design
Ryan,
I am not taking any offence because someone else built this site, and I agree it is essentially u g l y. I did not design it.

Thanks for the grade! There's no problem with the point spread; it's all about helping and learning.
