caching Problem

I am developing a site on an Apache server. But everytime I make a change to a page the changes to not show up when I go to the page through my browser.

The browser is set to check for new page each time.

What can I do to overcome this problem, it is driving me mad.

Thanks for the help.

I seems to have the same problem if using IE as the browser.  Only clicking SHIFT-Refresh will then I get the fresh copy.  Refresh alone does not seems to work.

Everything seems to be OK with Netscape.

And I hope you are not connected via a Proxy server.

Let's not blame the browsers (which I think it's the browser, and not Apache), perhaps we could look at fine-tuning Apache:  Try to look into tuning mod_expires

http://httpd.apache.org/docs/mod/mod_expires.html

http://httpd.apache.org/docs/mod/mod_expires.html#expiresdefault

Some interesting TIPS from Modwest.
http://www.modwest.com/help/kb7-74.html

i hope this helps.
