Browse All TopicsHow do I associate a *.vmc file with a *.vhd file? I created a *.vhd file via Acronis software; however, it did not create the associated *.vmc file. As a result, I am not able to get the *.vhd to load. Useing MS Virtual PC 2007.

With Virtual PC, create a new Virtual Machine and in the hard disk settings, assign an existing hard disk and choose the .vhd. Acronis does does make Virtual Machines (.vmc), only the hard disks.
