When I am creating a post in Wordpress I would like to add additional fields to it. For example, I would like to add a "Event Date" field because I am using my blog to post events.
I saw a "Custom Fields" box near the bottom of the page. My question is, what is this for? Would this let me add my custom field?
I messed around with it and it looks like it might have added it??? But when I go to add another post it looks like my custom field does not automatically show up. Is there a way to make it persistent?
