Looking for a simple, self-hosted, WYSIWYG website creator (alternatives to Wordpress)

Hi, I do professional web development for a living but a friend wants a simple website for his business, and I'm trying to find the ideal system. He wants something like Wordpress -- hosted on their servers, but allowing a domain, with easily configurable templates and content edited without any HTML expertise. But Wordpress allows very limited control over the templates, and is meant more for a blog than for a static website (even with its 'pages' it's not very good at that). Google Sites has few templates and doesn't seem to allow domains. I could design him a website but it would take me several hours and I'd have to make edits myself; he wants something he can edit himself. Does anyone know of a site that offers this service?Start Free Trial
