How to add flash to wordpress blog?

Hi,

I am using wordpress to develop a blog website. I use dreamweaver to modify coding and for CSS customization. I am trying to add flash items to my blog however it is not letting me.

I tried adding the standard flash buttons that dreamweaver has (as an example) and it is not showing up. What should I do to add flash items to a wordpress blog?

Can you give information about what kind of flash?

A banner or button.

For example; If u add a flash banner;

For other things you should use <embed> tag.

<embed quality="high" height="400" width="400" src="your swf location" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer"></embed>

And you can add style with css.

It could be a banner or any other type of swf files I am trying to add. SO you are saying that if it is a banner it should be using the code stated above and if it it is anything else use the <embeded> tag....
