Wordpress page level permissions. Can I grant granular user rights at the page level?

In a WordPress 2.7 application, can I grant granular user rights at the page level?  That is, can I grant user 1 to have the ability to update pages XY and Z in addition have user 2 update pages A B and C.

There is a plugin that will allow this level of granularity. However, while it is *available* it is no longer *supported*.

The above Plug-in ,worked once for me, seems to flaky... Even if it did work and was it was supported, it seem too difficult to manage for my use.

Close but no cigar.


Basically I would like to use WordPress as a CMS and give HR rights to their pages and Sales access to their pages.

Is there a better solution?

I don't think this tool is powerful enough for the application I am looking for.

I am going to accept this as the response.
