Jquery tooltip not working in Wordpress

Hello,
I'm trying to add a simple tooltip that will reveal a google map when one mouses over the "view map" link.
I've built a Wordpress theme and this tooltip works in the basic XHTML/CSS site.
But it ain't doin' NUTHIN in Wordpress. I've been scouring the web and have discovered the
wp_enqueue_script() function. I thought I was using it correctly.
Just some background. I am very green at this stuff. This is my first theme and I'm not a javascript nor PHP expert. I know very little in fact. I'm just good at finding detailed and easy to follow tutorials on line.

I've added a plugin form: cform, which I'm suspecting is having a conflict with my jQuery. But I don't know how to figure that out.
