Log Internet Explorer Startup

I (and others) are having a problem with IE7 hanging during startup. With almost literally hundreds of Plugins, most of them Microsoft or Apple or Motive Communications I could spend hours disabling, restarting, disabling more....

Does anyone know of a way to cause IE to log its startup? I could find the last or last few Plugins/AddOns to be loaded and probably focus my diagnosis...

Any other suggestions are also welcome, but random search was never a favorite of mine...
