How can I add a date picker on my ASP.NET website?

I would like to build an ASP.NET (VB) website. In some pages user needs to specify a date. I want to use a date picker (a small calendar that user can select a date). There is such a control named DateTimePicker in VB.NET, is there anything similar to use in ASP.NET?

I have installed the AJAX extension but I cannot find the Calendar control you have mentioned. When I run the code, I receive: "Unknown server tag 'ajaxToolkit:calendar'."

You need to add:

<%@ Register Assembly="AjaxControlToolkit" Namespace="AjaxControlToolkit" TagPrefix="cc1" %>

Below your page directive to register the control toolkit assembly.

Yes, I have that line of code in my script, however I still encounter the error message. is it because of my Visual Studio version? I am using Viusal Studio 2005, SP2.

G0ggy, I dont have time to start testing the code, but I did upgrade the asp.net and the toolkit to latest version. I guess that should be work, anyway, let accept your solution as workable solution first
