No solution to this problem. Apparently components cannot be decompiled.

Browse All TopicsI have the Thumbnailer Pro component which I'm essentially using as an image ticker. Essentially 8 logos at a time scroll left horizontally. I don't want the rollover hand to appear and have adjusted the XML for this, but the images act as buttons and I want to shut this off. It appears the only way to do this is to decompile the component. Does anyone know if or how to do this?

That probably is the only way unless the author of the component expose a way to tab into the code and do whatever else you want to do with it... So, yes, the only option you have is to find a way to get a source file... But it might not be an easy thing to do, and that probably will violate the TOS you signed when you bought the component...
That's the thing about the component... A component is good for general use, but you cannot really modify its behavior and very restricted to what it can and cannot do... Of course, it saves development time, but it is not always the best answer, unfortunately...
