Need step by step on how to un-install and re-install Com+ for Event System (corrupt).

Developer for an app has intructed us that the COM+ (event System) is corrupt and needs to be re-installed.
Getting a full backup of server now. Been looking at articles but no luck with anything good so far.
Need a doc or steps for Win2K3 standard.
